The Anchor News – 12th September 2025

A very warm welcome to everyone from me Mrs Nizamis, as we begin this new school year, especially to those families who are joining our school community for the first time. It is a real privilege to be starting my tenth year here, and I continue to feel excited about the opportunities ahead for our pupils. The start of term always brings a wonderful sense of energy and possibility, and I know this year will be no exception.

Next week, all of our after-school clubs begin, offering children a wide variety of enjoyable and enriching activities to take part in. There is so much to look forward to, and I hope every child will find something new to try or an existing interest to develop further. Our value for this half term is service, and we will be encouraging the children to think about the small but meaningful ways they can contribute—whether that’s helping a friend, supporting at home, or looking after our school community together.
