My name is Miss Akers, and I am the Pastoral Manager at St. Clement’s. I have worked at St Clements for 20 Years and enjoy working with all the amazing children.

As Pastoral Manager I work on pupil attendance, behaviour, family support, safeguarding and child protection, mentoring, wellbeing, child therapies and counselling, developing staff, safeguarding in our curriculum and creating polices. Another part of my role is community engagement and our Junior PCSO Team. We aim to keep making Nechells a better place and work with others to develop opportunities for children and families living in the area.

As a school we do a lot to support families. Accessing support early so that problems don’t grow is very important. As well as coming into school there are local hubs that can offer early help and support to families. More information can be found in the flyers below.
