The Anchor News – 19th December 2024

Hi Folks,
It’s time for our Christmas break already. This term has flown by and the children have put in so much hard work over the last 7 weeks they deserve a good rest over the Christmas holiday. This last week has been a wonderful showcase of your children’s talents, with academic achievements and recognition of children who live out our school values in Shining Stars on Monday, EYFs acting/ reading and singing talents on Tuesday in the nativity. The beautiful sound of our whole school singing on Wednesday along with our actors and ‘reporters’ in the whole school carol Service and Nativity. Thursday, the children shared their lovely thoughts and prayers for Hope and gratitude for ourselves, our families & friends, our local community and world wide in our Prayer Morning and on today we were wowed with our ‘Class bands’ pop performances. We have also had some lovely class assemblies this half term. Thank you to all the parents, carers and friends who have attended events over the half term and especially this last week. It really helps to boost your children’s self-esteem and confidence when they can share with their adults.
Going forward we would like parents to be more involved with what their children are working on in school so we will be organising a wider range of workshops for all different subjects where parents can come and spend time with their children in school and work together on an activity. This will deepen you understanding of how your children work in school and for them it is a wonderful opportunity for them to show off their skills to you.
All the staff team at St. Clement’s wish you a very blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year. We hope you enjoy the holiday together and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2025!!
Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
