The Anchor News – 6th March 2026

What a busy and brilliant week it has been!

Well done to Year 5 for their fantastic assembly on courageous advocacy. They shared powerful messages about standing up for what is right, even in small everyday moments. Our value this half term is Courage — how can you show courage in little ways each day?

We also celebrated a wonderful World Book Day! Children and staff made a huge effort with their costumes, and our special assembly was full of excitement and creativity. A big thank‑you to everyone who took part.

Don’t forget — our competitions, Book in a Jar and Caught Reading, are still open until Monday. There’s still time to enter, but be quick, as that is the final deadline. Winners will also be announced on Monday.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend — and don’t forget to read something new!
