The Anchor News – 5th June 2025

Hey Everyone,

I can’t believe we are in the last half term of the school year!  I know from experience that even though this is a 7 weeks term, it will go by in a flash, and it won’t be long till we say goodbye to the year 6 children, teachers that are leaving and the classrooms that you have got used to over the past year. 

We have a lot of fun filled activities filling the next 6 weeks so pay attention to the calendar of dates. (Particularly any changes that are indicated with a star).  Woodlands trips will be here soon, so make sure to get all your stuff together so that you are ready to have fun on the day.  There are also class assemblies to look forward to, covering Equality & Equity, Determination, Inspiration and Inspirational People, Talking to God, My Hero is… and Facing Challenges. Finally we have Photo Day, Sports Day, Career’s Day and Decades Day all coming up this half term, so there is lots going on alongside the final topics and learning.

I hope you have a good weekend and are as excited to get to the end as the rest of us, only 6 weeks to go!!
