Sports Day Letter
Please find below the text from the letter emailed out today to parents/carers regarding Sports Day.
Sports Day 2025 – Important Information for Parents and Carers
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are excited to invite you to our annual Sports Day, which will take place on Wednesday 9th July, weather permitting. We look forward to a fun and active afternoon celebrating physical activity with our pupils.
Event Times:
- EYFS and Key Stage 1: 1:00pm – 1:45pm
- Key Stage 2: 2:00pm – 3:00pm
What Children Should Wear:
All children must come to school in their PE kit, which should include:
- Blue or black bottoms (shorts, leggings, or joggers)
- Navy polo shirt
- Plain black pumps or trainers
Additional Information:
- Children may bring a named water bottle, which must only contain water.
- Parents and carers are welcome to attend and watch their child’s event. Please come via Butlin Street gate.
- After the event, parents are welcome to take their child home but must sign them out with a member of staff.
- Please be aware that this event is weather dependent and may be rescheduled or cancelled in the event of poor weather conditions.
Important Reminders:
- No mobile phones or photographs will be permitted during the event. If mobile phones are seen being used, parents will be asked to put them away. This is to ensure the privacy and safety of all our children.
