The Anchor News – 3rd July 2026

Hi everyone,

I can’t believe we are nearly at the end of another school year, it has absolutely flown by! We have had a very busy few weeks, and the final fortnight is shaping up to be just as exciting. It has been wonderful to see the children continue to work hard, enjoy new experiences and make lasting memories together.

The children had a fantastic time in Sutton Park today, taking part in a range of team-building activities. From playing sports and enjoying picnics in the sunshine to feeding the ducks, there were smiles all around. It was also lovely to see families joining us and taking part in such a fun and engaging day outside of school.

As temperatures are expected to remain high next week, please ensure your child brings a water bottle and sun hat to school. We will continue to encourage the children to stay hydrated and make the most of shaded areas throughout the day.

We have another exciting week ahead, and I know the children are all looking forward to finding out who their new teachers will be next Friday. We are looking forward to making the most of our final weeks together and celebrating a fantastic year of learning and achievement.
